Working Gardener

Job Description

 

The role will include:
1. General garden maintenance, including mowing, edging, weeding, and pruning
2. Care of herbaceous borders, hedges, and topiary
3. Watering, feeding, and pest/disease monitoring of plants
4. Use and basic maintenance of garden tools and machinery
5. Maintaining paths, lawns, and other garden areas to a high standard
6. Seasonal planting and bedding
7. General tidying and upkeep to preserve the character of the garden
What we're looking for:
1. A genuine interest in horticulture/gardening (current students welcome)
2. Willingness to learn and take direction
3. Reliable, punctual, and a good team player
4. Previous gardening experience is helpful but not essential
