Warehouse Operative

Job Description

 

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives, Team Leaders and Supervisors to join our team.

You will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks in a warehouse setting. This includes receiving, storing, and distributing products, as well as maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring efficient operations.

Duties:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify the contents against purchase orders
- Unload and inspect products for damages or defects
- Sort, label, and store items in designated warehouse locations
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare products for shipment by properly packaging and labeling them
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
- Perform inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and meet deadlines

Qualifications:
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods of time
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and inventory management
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain an orderly warehouse environment
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
