Job Description

 

New Forest Fencing are looking for a trainee fence and gate installer to join our growing team, based in our yard in Nursling, Southampton. The role will require the right candidate to learn new skills in how to install fencing and gates, while working as part of a team, and being polite and courteous to our staff, suppliers, and customers.
You will work alongside a team of experienced lead installers who will show you the tips and tricks of the trade on the job, while you earn a competitive salary. And the more you do, and the better your work, the more opportunities you have to earn more.

The ideal candidate must:

• Have a positive, can-do attitude.
• Be punctual, reliable, and have great attendance
• Be able to work as part of a team
• Not be afraid to get your hands dirty, lifting and carrying loads and happy to do manual labour
• Be polite, courteous and friendly

This is a full time role from 8-5 Monday – Friday. For the right candidate, we will also take on the role 1-2 days per week while you finish your course, providing you join on a full-time basis once the course has finished.

Probation: 3 months

Start date: ASAP
