Our client is offering an amazing opportunity for students with Electrical qualifications to join their team as a Trainee CAD Designer.

Role: Trainee CAD Designer
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £26,275
Location: Totton
Hours: Mon-Fri - 37.5 hours per week 9:00am - 5:30pm with 1 hour lunch break, onsite only – no hybrid.

Duties and Responsibilities as Trainee CAD Designer:
• Learn to produce schematic drawings following company standards
• Support the creation and updating of technical drawings
• Assist with electrical panel and schematic diagram development
• Build understanding of wiring diagrams and general arrangement (GA) drawings
• Help with drawing revisions and maintain accurate change logs
• Ensure all drawings are accurate, clearly labelled, and correctly version controlled
• Develop knowledge of industry standards, components, and safety requirements
• Take part in ongoing training and continuous learning activities
