Job Description

 

You will be joining an experienced team of staff dedicated to delivering projects that improve the environment, conservation, civils and countryside access. Recent projects undertaken by Aquascience Ltd range from reinstating relict river channels and restoring degraded wetlands to designing and constructing footbridges. We’re always looking for new challenges, meaning you will be constantly asked to adapt to new projects and learn new skills and techniques. The one constant in working with our site team is working in some of Hampshire and the South Coast’s most idyllic backdrops and tranquil environments. We work in some of the most sensitive sites in the South Coast (SSSIs, SACs, SPAs, etc.) so you will have the opportunity to make a real difference to conservation and the natural environment. We are looking for someone who is hard-working, reliable, has a practical aptitude and is able to work well within a small team, is motivated and independent, and has an eye for detail. A full clean driving licence is required. Full training will be given.

Desirable attributes would be plant operational certifications (Excavator and dumper), strimmer, chainsaw etc, ecological and conservation background, construction and civils understanding, valid cscs card, 1 day first aid course.
