Job Description

 

I am looking for an enthusiastic part time employee to join 2 current full-time staff, milking 120 cows, and raising our own followers on a beautiful 390 acre dairy farm in Pewsey, Wiltshire .
Any applicant would need to live locally, and have their own transport and accommodation.
The farm has a long-term relationship supplying milk to Waitrose, so attention to detail, reliability and high welfare standards are the key qualifications, and obviously a tractor driving license, and at least some cow husbandry and milking experience essential.
Hours could be flexible, but I envisage that the applicant would be expected to work one weekend in every three, once he/she has been trained up.
