Parks Tractor Driver

Job Description

 

You will hold a City and Guilds NPTC Level 2 Certificate of Competence Tractor or equivalent as well as a full driving licence. Able to use your own initiative you will have knowledge of horticultural operations and be experienced in the use of large and small horticultural/agricultural machinery including front loader operation. You will be able to maintain a varied range of tractor and tractor mounted equipment and adjust machinery to maximise operation. Self motivated with the ability to make judgements of safe working within a busy park or open space you will report issues and/or necessary re-routing to the supervisor. You will be flexible to provide cover at weekends and out of normal working hours when required with the ability to work on your own and as part of a team following instructions from supervisors.
