Maintenance Assistant

Job Description

 

You will have a hands-on role in the provision and maintenance of equipment and services that enable the farms husbandry staff to rear high quality farmed salmon from smolt to harvest. The job will involve maintaining buildings, sea pens, barges, boats, tools and other equipment used at any of our three sites (Ardmair, Corry and Ardessie).

Ideally, you will have experience in a marine, agricultural, building or engineering background, though training will be provided. Practical skills, a good understanding of maintenance and logistics and a driving licence are essential requirements for this role.
Employees are eligible to join our contributory pension scheme and discretionary bonus scheme following satisfactory completion of a probationary period.

This is a full-time position, though part-time/flexible hours will be considered. The starting pay rate is £10.88 per hour (subject to good attendance).
