Live in Gardener

Job Description

 

We are looking for a live in gardener with some maintenance responsibilities. You need to be passionate about gardening and adaptable and flexible, willing to deal with most things on the estate involving gardens, lawns, terraces, gravel areas, rose arbours, shrubs, hedges, small trees, flowers and vegetables. The owner is quite hands on and likes to have input. You will maintain the greenhouses and plant and harvest vegetables and fruit. You will also be responsible for care and maintenance of the garden machinery and tools. You will also liaise and be an onsite contact for any maintenance or general repair contractors for the house or farm buildings and assist with certain aspects of physical security on site, including being a key contact for all the alarms. You will also be involved in all aspects of regular maintenance for the swimming pool, feed and look after the chickens and ducks, and take cars for MOTs and services. Accommodation comprises a 2 bed semi detached property in the grounds of the country house.
