Candidates will be fully trained and will work safely in accordance with our processes, procedures and protocols.
We offer free attendance at our popular dog training and agility classes for you and your own dog(s)
Working arrangements are 5 hour shifts, usually 09:30 - 15:30 but may vary by mutual agreement.
We have shifts available on weekdays or weekends.
Additional hours may sometimes be available by mutual agreement.
Cleaning outdoor areas to the highest standard (no kennel work)
Canine coat care (no trimming or styling)
Updating electronic records promptly and accurately
Supervised care of neonates and puppies
Other ad hoc dog related tasks
Experience and Skills (essential)
Demonstrable experience caring for dogs at all life stages
Experienced and confident handling large breeds
UK driving licence
Competent walking multiple (up to 4) dogs
Practical experience handling and training varied breeds
Excellent customer facing skills
Excellent telephone manner
Experience and Skills (preferred)
Experience in kennel work or similar
Qualification in a canine/animal welfare subject
Certificate in canine first aid
Additional Skills (low priority)
Competent in General Property Maintenance
