Job Description
Armsworth Hill Farm is a beautiful private estate near Old Alresford in the heart of the Hampshire countryside. We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate junior gardener to join us two days a week, helping to care for and develop our estate gardens.
This is a wonderful opportunity for someone in the early stages of their horticultural career — perhaps currently studying or having recently completed a qualification at Sparsholt College or similar — who wants to gain real hands-on experience on a working private estate.
What you'll be doing:
— Assisting with all aspects of estate garden maintenance
— Seasonal planting, pruning, and border care
— Hedge trimming and general grounds upkeep
— Supporting one-off garden projects as they arise
What we're looking for:
— Currently studying or recently completed an RHS or horticultural qualification
— A genuine love of plants, gardens, and the outdoors
— Reliable and hardworking with an eye for detail
— Own transport essential — we are a rural location near Old Alresford and not accessible by public transport
