Habitats Management Assistant

Job Description

 

We have opportunities for habitat management projects across the South of England with an immediate start. Works will be ongoing Monday to Friday.

As a part of our Habitats Team you will be working as part of a small team undertaking wildlife habitat management across central and southern England. All equipment and training will be provided. This role will be suited to a recent graduate or an experienced grounds maintenance operative with a desire to work towards being a team leader.

Essential requirements:

- A valid driver's licence
- Strimmer and brushcutter experience
- Hedgecutter experience
- Hand tool use
- Tool maintenance

Desirable experience:
- A valid CSCS card
- Chainsaw NPTC 201/202 qualified
- Polesaw use
-Tree planting
- First Aid qualification
- IPAF qualified to use a Mobile elevation work Platform (MEWP)
