Skyfell Tree Specialists is a growing, professional tree surgery company delivering high-quality arboricultural services across Hampshire and West Sussex. We're looking for a hardworking, reliable Groundsman / Second Climber to join our friendly team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and wants to develop their climbing skills within a professional and safety-focused company.

Responsibilities

- Assisting the lead climber on a variety of tree surgery operations.
- Carrying out aerial work when required and within your level of competence.
- Operating chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, and other arboricultural equipment.
- Maintaining a safe and tidy work site.
- Loading and unloading vehicles and caring for tools and equipment.
- Communicating professionally with customers and colleagues.

Essential Requirements

- Full UK driving licence.
- Relevant chainsaw qualifications (NPTC/Lantra).
- Experience working in the tree surgery industry.
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to work safely as part of a team.

Desirable

- Climbing qualifications and experience.
- B+E trailer licence.
- MEWP qualification.
- First Aid at Work + Forestry.
- HGV licence.
