GROUNDSMAN

Job Description

 

The overall maintenance of the grounds, working alongside the Arborist and trainee groundsman.

The key tasks will be, strimming, hedge cutting supporting Climbing Arborist, occasional hard landscaping, site clearance as per requested by the client. The individual must have an ability to work under their own initiative as well as working closely with the existing team.

Ideal Skills

General grounds experience including both Arbor and Horticultural knowledge would be an advantage.

Familiarity with agricultural equipment from small tractors to mini diggers an advantage but not essential – training will be given if needed.

Strimming and brush cutting

A desire to further and broaden your experience.

A self-motivated, enthusiastic and driven groundsman is sought after on a full time and permanent basis to join family owned business based in Bradford on Avon, Wiltshire

25 days holiday ( to include Christmas closure and possibly a week during bird nesting) plus of bank holidays

Salary dependent on experience.
