Green Keeper Vacancy
The club has decided to hire an additional green keeper to work with existing staff and our volunteers.

Our ideal candidate will possess/be able to demonstrate the following:

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
Spraying and chainsaw certification.
High professional and personal standards are important.
An eye for detail regarding course quality and presentation.
The course is currently run by a part time green keeper and a group of dedicated volunteers. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate the ability and a quality of leadership to maximize the skills and effort these people bring to the course
The skills necessary to help shape and deliver the AGC Course Master plan
We have an agile plan for the course the successful candidate will be expected to manage the delivery of that plan
Experience in management of the irrigation system
We have a new irrigation system. The successful candidate will be expected to become familiar with the system and ensure it is properly maintained and operated.
Practical experience operating all turf machinery maintenance
We have a large arsenal of machinery the replacement and maintenance of that will be part of the new green keepers responsibility.
Understanding, management, and control of budgets, able to report using word and excel.
We have an active committee made up of good level headed business people who understand modern management. We expect the successful candidate to become a part of that team.
Up-to-date knowledge of Health & Safety ensuring compliance.
Willingness to work outside regular hours.
