We’re looking for someone to join our Trading team, to assist the Trading Manager in bringing in grain, selling grain and arranging some haulage to deliver our products. This role is very varied and would suit someone with an understanding of farming.
Assisting the Trading Manager day to day – answering calls, contract entry/amendments.
To organise the incoming and outcoming haulage of some of our products; this includes negotiation and persistence.
Co-ordinating and working closely with stakeholders and other teams to fulfil customer orders and ensuring excellent customer service.
Maintenance of spreadsheets, contracts and any relevant paperwork.
To assist with purchase of grain from existing suppliers, and developing new business.
Organising some fixings and co-ordinating incoming deliveries.
Attention to detail is key
Experienced in the use of Microsoft IT software – Outlook, Word, Excel and utilising skills into using bespoke systems.
Demonstrates good level of farming awareness
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organised and motivated
Ability to interact and build relationships both internally and externally
Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00
Office Based. 20 days holiday + Bank Holidays
