Job Description

 

Full time or part time vacancy at Lyburn Farmhouse Cheesemakers, where we make cheese with the milk from our own herd of 170 cows, and are best known for our Old Winchester and Stoney Cross cheeses.

We have a vacancy for a general assistant, who will be part of a team of four, making and packing cheese, and in doing so you should not underestimate the amount of energy you will need to make cheese.

In house training will be provided, and this could lead to a 2 year, Dairy Apprenticeship in conjunction with Reaseheath College in Cheshire. Competitive rates of pay are offered, subject to age and experience.
