Job Description

 

Gardener required for two days a week for a beautiful 4 acre garden close to Salisbury.

The garden is a mix of formal and informal areas and has plenty of established herbaceous borders. There are also fruit trees, cutting garden, kitchen garden, fernery, wildflower meadow, water meadow and holiday let cottage gardens. Several areas of the garden are still currently being redeveloped.

There is a second gardener who deals with all the grass cutting and smaller tree work so the successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining the garden to it’s already high standard. We are looking for someone with good practical gardening skills as well as an exceptional eye for detail. Good communication skills are also key. PA1 and PA6 would also be useful.

The existing gardener is retiring but will be available to help the successful applicant ease into the job.
