Forestry yard worker

Job Description

 

Main roles include:
operating the firewood processors, sawmill, telehandler and general yard maintenance duties including keeping the biomass boiler fed we also do some forestry work offsite.
Applicants must be self motivated and be able to work in a small team.

We have a large selection of modern machinery and a dry working area.

Hours are:
Monday - Thursday 8:00 - 17:00
Overtime during the winter months


Essential criteria:
Agricultural experience (forklift, tractors, machines etc)
Full driving licence


Desirable to have Cs30 chainsaw maintenance and cross cutting


Salary depending on experience
