Farm Manager

Job Description

 

This is not a traditional farming role.
Our livestock includes:

• Gloucestershire Old Spot pigs
• Welsh Badger Face sheep
• Llamas
• Reindeer
• Wallabies
• Poultry and other farm animals

This role would suit someone at the start of their farming management career who is looking for the opportunity to take ownership, learn, grow and build something special.

The Role

You will take day-to-day responsibility for:

• Livestock management and welfare
• Grazing and pasture management
• Feeding programmes
• Health records and compliance
• Farm maintenance and presentation
• Fencing and infrastructure
• Machinery operation and maintenance
• Supporting the growth and development of the farm
• Working closely with the Farm Shop and hospitality teams to deliver our field-to-fork vision

About You

You will be:

• Passionate about farming and animal welfare
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently
• Organised and practical
• Comfortable managing multiple livestock species
• Looking for a long-term opportunity with genuine responsibility
• Keen to be part of a growing business

Essential

• Livestock experience
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude

Desirable

• Tractor and machinery experience
• Livestock qualifications
• Fencing and general maintenance skills
• Experience managing a small farm operation
