Ecology Officer

Job Description

 

You will assist the CIC Project Manager to deliver the Project Development Phase of this Landscape Recovery scheme through to implementation. This will involve overseeing the monitoring and evaluation plan, all baseline studies and acting as the key point of contact for environmental studies. You will work with the Project Manager to develop a land management plan and assist with community engagement, schools outreach and project work. You will work closely with key project members, consisting of CIC Board of Directors, Project Steering Group, private landowners and farmers.

We are keen to find the right person who will have the energy, commitment and passion to oversee a wide range of ecological studies and be able to listen and communicate effectively with consultants, funders and key stakeholders.
