Job Description


We have an exciting new opportunity for individuals with Agricultural knowledge and passion to join the Connected/Central Support department at our Milton Common (Thame) Head Office. This department provides remote support to our customers through diagnostics, software updates and remote machine health management, working with 6 of our Depots to provide support, which includes scheduling engineers across the business.

You will be an integral part of the team and will use our cutting-edge tools and technology to provide central remote support to our customers. You will provide key assistance and support with technical faults or Precision Ag issues, ensuring minimum downtime and maximum customer satisfaction. You will be pro-actively planning & scheduling services centrally for 6 depots; your role will be to communicate with customers (both internal and external), and to allocate and schedule work. You will also carry out other duties such as:

John Deere (JD Link) & Kramer (EquipCare) telematics machine and platform management

Ensuring our customer service levels meet our customers’ needs whilst maintaining a first-class standard of service at all times

Get current and new customers increasingly engaged with John Deere and Farol Technology
Person Specification

This role would be ideal for someone graduating from college with a qualification in an agricultural-related subject!

It is essential that you have and can demonstrate the following attributes:

A degree of knowledge and interest in farming/agriculture and the associated machinery (though this doesn' t need to be too technical!)
Exceptional organisational, administrative and planning skills
Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
Excellent interpersonal skills - able to work well with colleagues
Excellent customer service skills with the desire to put the customer first (whether an internal or external customer)
Strong IT skills - this role is office & computer-based, and requires the ability to quickly process information, using both standard (Microsoft) and bespoke software
