Chainsaw Operative

Job Description

 

Chainsaw Operative – Role Includes:

• Tree felling, cutting, and pruning using chainsaws
• Working on both private land and railway infrastructure
• Operating safely under rail industry standards
• Supporting safe tree removals and site management
• Maintaining and checking equipment regularly

Requirements:
• NPTC qualifications (CS30/CS31 or higher)
• Railway experience or PTS (Personal Track Safety) card preferred (We can arrange this)
• Must be safety-focused
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions

Groundsman – Role Includes:
• Assisting with site clearance and support tasks
• Operating machinery and managing debris
• Supporting tree surgeons on rail and off-rail jobs
• Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment
• Railway experience or PTS (Personal Track Safety) card preferred (We can arrange this)

You’ll be part of a close-knit team and have the opportunity to take additional courses and certifications as part of your development.
