Assistant Tree Climber for Bat Surveys

Job Description

 

This is a great opportunity for tree climbers of any ability to practice their skills whilst conducting aerial inspections of trees for roosting bats. The surveys will be conducted under the supervision and guidance of a bat licenced ecologist.

The days will involve climbing trees and inspecting features which have potential for bats to roost in and using inspection cameras and torches.

Candidates will be responsible for providing their own LOLER certified climbing equipment, PPE and transport to and from site which will be located near Popham.

Climbers are needed on the 9th 10th and 11th June, with more dates to follow.
