Job Description
We are offering paid, ad?hoc work for students interested in outdoor, practical environmental projects available over the summer and at other times throughout the year
The role involves the maintenance and enhancement of environments in and around waterbodies. Tasks are varied and hands?on, and may include: habitat construction and enhancements, management of aquatic vegetation including invasive species control , installation and maintenance of pumps, fountains and other water?based features, general environmental and water-based management tasks.
Candidates must be comfortable working in and around water, confident using power tools such as brushcutters and hedgecutters (training provided), reliable and able to work as part of a small team.
This role would suit students studying environmental, countryside management, ecology, horticulture, or similar land?based courses, as well as anyone keen to gain practical outdoor experience.
The company is based in Reading, with work across London and the wider South East.
